Anna Alsup is a writer of novels for young adults. She grew up in Austin, Texas, where she spent her time on lakes and ranches, always with a book in hand. She’s a graduate of the University of Texas with a B.S. in biomedical engineering, nowadays working on product development.

Anna is the Regional Advisor for the Austin SCBWI chapter, where she leads chapter meetings, plans conferences and events for industry professionals to connect, and fosters a community of love for kidlit.

She’s an active member of the Writer’s League of Texas and Messy Manuscript Society. She enjoys writing stories that explore teenage resilience, whether it be hopeful, daunting, or a mix of both. When she’s not writing, she enjoys her afternoons on with her 2 cats, Bean and Lil’ Dude.
